Chemical Operator - Level 2

As a Chemical Operator Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient operation of our chemical manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for operating and monitoring equipment, conducting quality control tests, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Your attention to detail and adherence to standard operating procedures will contribute to the production of high-quality chemical products. You will report directly to one of our Production Supervisors and indirectly to our Operations Manager, and you'll work out of our Orange, TX location on a Dupont work schedule. In this role, you will affect the efficiency and productivity of our chemical manufacturing facility by ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Please note that the work schedule for this position may include overtime shift opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n\nOperate and monitor chemical processing production equipment\nFollow standard operating procedures and safety protocols while maintaining a safe working environment\nConduct quality control tests to ensure product specifications are met\nTroubleshoot equipment issues, perform basic maintenance tasks and implement corrective actions\nMaintain accurate production records and documentation\nRelocate and manage bulk material using mechanical means (fork truck/drum and pallet handlers/super sack hoists)\nClimb access ladders, stairs, use overhead lifting devices\nMaintain responsibility for operations on the line\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes\nMonitor production processes and ensure adherence to quality standards\n\n

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\n2+ years of experience as a Chemical Operator or similar role\nKnowledge of chemical handling and safety procedures\nBasic computer skills\n\n
