Our client, a leader in the light industrial sector, is seeking a Chemical Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with chemical manufacturing. Shift is based on production demands (6pm-6:30am). **Job Title:** Chemical Operator **Location:** Chicago, IL (Bedford Park area) **Pay Range:** $25.00 Hourly **Shift:** 6pm-6:30am (Mon-Tue-Fri-Sat or Sun-Wed-Thur) **What's the Job?** + Mark and label drums and totes, container tags, or products using marking tools. + Measure and weigh containers. + Load materials and products into package processing equipment. + Clean containers with sodium hydroxide. + Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to meet packing specifications. + Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records. **What's Needed?** + High school diploma or GED typically required. + Forklift experience required + SAP, Delta V and HDMI nice to have. + Ability to lift objects up to 30lbs. + Basic knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, and procedures. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. + Gain valuable experience in the light industrial field. + Work with a team of dedicated professionals. + Potential for permanent placement after initial training period.
