Chemical Process Development Scientist I

This position is part of the Chemical Process Development Department located in Coralville, IA and will be on-site. At IDT, we are one global team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Design and perform experimentation with assistance or as prescribed by management to improve existing or create new processes or materials. + Prioritize work and complete projects in an accurate and timely manner. + Analyze and interpret QC and experimental data. + Collaborate and effectively communicate with all levels of IDT staff within various departments to facilitate successful project and process outcomes. + Document all testing via reports and/or presentations and presents data and recommend future steps The essential requirements of the job include: + Bachelor’s degree in science related field required. + Ability to acquire and apply knowledge of new software packages required. + Ability to adapt to changing requirements required. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + 2+ years of work experience in high tech/biotech company preferred. + Knowledge of oligonucleotide manufacturing processes and synthesis methods preferred.
