Your Role at KIK

At KIK, we are seeking a detail-oriented Chemical Processor to join our 3rd Shift (Monday - Friday (9:00 pm - 5:30 am) with occasional overtime as needed) team. Their responsibilities will include conducting quality checks, performing changeover processes, operating continuous blending/batching for bleach and ammonia products, and following guidelines for wastewater treatment and waste disposal. Candidates must be able to wear a full-face respirator and Level A suit as necessary. Must adhere to OSHA Hazard Materials Procedures, complete necessary paperwork, and follow safety, GMP, and company policies. This person needs to exhibit a strong attention to detail, strong mathematical skills, and the ability to safely handle chemicals are essential. Candidate should be comfortable working around flammable, combustible, and corrosive chemicals. This position has an hourly rate of $23.00, in addition to a .50 shift differential and a quarterly incentive bonus.

What You’ll Be Doing

Perform wet lab testing, quality checks such as titration, filter and water hardness testing Operating a continuous blending / batching process for bleach, household cleaners and ammonia products Follow guidelines for wastewater treatment and proper disposal of all waste materials Comply with all OSHA Hazard Materials Procedures and follow all safety and GMP guidelines Complete appropriate paperwork as required (batch tickets) Carefully follow detailed procedures and policies to complete the batching process Perform basic mathematical skills

What You’ll Bring

High-school diploma or GED equivalent 3 or more years of experience in processing / batching manufacturing Good communication skills [both verbal and written] Must have a strong mathematical aptitude Must be a part of the site emergency response team Basic Computer skills Constant interaction with a variety of chemicals and chemical products Ability to work comfortably around high noise levels, unpleasant odors and fumes Flammable, combustible, and corrosive chemicals are present in working environment Must be able to wear a full-face respirator and Level A suit as necessary

Physical Requirements:

Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs  Ability to climb stairs/ladders  Using hands and arms together to move various items  Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time up to 12 hours
