Nucor Insulated Panel Group - Shelbyville IN, has an opportunity for a Chemical Technician. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: + Maintenance of chemicals assigned to production lines. + Verification of COAs for incoming materials. + Test incoming materials before trucks are unloaded. + Charged with unloading chemical trucks. + Daily check of compressions and density of foam. + Maintain correct inventory levels and audit monthly inventories. + Responsible for working closely with production teammates to ensure the team follows documented processes. + Other duties, as assigned [[cust_safetyState]] Minimum Requirements: + High School Diploma. + Strong computer skills with Microsoft office applications. + Must be able to lift up 50lbs. Minimum Qualifications: Preferences: + Willing to work extended hours and at times in harsh weather conditions. + Knowledge of the insulated metal panel industry. Preferred Qualifications: Must have supervisor and/or manager recommendation and must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
