Your Role at KIK
Join our team as a Chemical Processor (6:00am – 4:30pm, requires flexibility to cover off shift support.) In this role you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of machinery and batching equipment. Responsibilities include staging materials, calculating product recipe specs, blending/mixing and performing changeovers. You’ll be a key contributor to the success of our plant. Bring your expertise and tools to a dynamic environment that values efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement. This position has an hourly rate starting at $24.00 per hour. The compensation is negotiable based upon a candidate’s experience and skill set.
What You’ll Be Doing
Perform quality checks such as titration, filter testing and water hardness testingPerform change over processOperating a continuous blending / batching process for bleach and ammonia productsFollow guidelines for wastewater treatmentFollow guidelines for proper disposal of all waste materialsComply with all OSHA Hazard Materials ProceduresComplete appropriate paperwork as requiredFollow all safety and GMP guidelinesFollow all policies and procedures as applicableCarefully follow detailed procedures to complete the batching processPerform mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, and divisionIdentify information and fill out all process sheets as requiredSafely handle various chemicals used in the batching processOther duties as assignedWhat You’ll Bring
