Are you ready to take on the role of Field Operator III - Chemical Technician for a major oil and gas company in Coyanosa, Texas? As a key member of the Special Services Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment and wells, while also maintaining a strong focus on safety and environmental compliance.

Role Overview

Collect samples of production fluid for testing and troubleshoot any issues with chemical pumps Monitor production chemical levels and order re-fills as needed Order new chemical application setups and assist with installation Maintain frequent communication with the Special Services Team, Production Foremen, Engineers, and Lease Operators Identify and implement corrective and optimization actions to ensure reliable and safe operational conditions Function as an Equipment Care Technician, using maintenance skills to perform simple maintenance activities Report any alarms or emergency shutdown systems that are out of service Provide detailed and accurate information during shift changes to ensure operations continuity Coordinate, control, and monitor maintenance jobs according to the corrective, predictive, and preventive planning Take samples of products for laboratory analysis and execute field laboratory tests Participate in emergency response activities and report incidents as per the Incident Reporting Guidelines Ensure good communication across the work team to address any issues or actions Provide assistance and support to ongoing Wellwork operations as needed

Skills & Qualifications

Basic knowledge of production chemicals and their application Proficiency with MS Office Suite programs, with emphasis on Excel and Word Operational knowledge of SCADA systems (XSPOC or Ignition) preferred Demonstrate leadership skills and strong verbal and written communication abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities with little notice Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision Excellent attention to detail and physically able to lift over 50 lbs and climb ladders/stairways

Education & Experience

Completed secondary education and previous experience as a Field Technician Strong communication skills (oral and written) High standard of safety, health, and environmental aptitude, and able to cultivate the same in others Extensive knowledge and/or experience in pipeline operations Extensive knowledge of safety and operations management tools and processes Strong knowledge of Emergency Preparedness Procedures Extensive knowledge of Project Philosophy and Design Specifications Knowledgeable of relevant regulations and commercial agreements

Pay & Benefits
