We are seeking a Chemical Truck Loader for a position in Baton Rouge, LA. The Loader position assists personnel with loading activities and routine tasks in a safe and efficient manner. Non-exempt role; Reports to the Foreman; Assigned duties according to specific procedures \/ work is checked frequently.\n
\n

Essential Qualifications:\n\nHigh school or equivalent\nBasic knowledge of rigging and components of rigging\nFamiliar with Turner Industries monthly\/quarterly color codes\nBasic knowledge of hand tools\nWritten pre-employment qualification test\nPost-offer drug\/alcohol screen and physical evaluation\nJob site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)\nSafety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.)\nApplicant\/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace \n\n


Functional Requirements:\n

Accountable for performance of scheduled work, while being observant of operating process equipment and maintenance needs, Communicates with supervisor as necessary to ensure maximum performances as outlined by targeted goals, Knowledgeable of and must follow all established plant and company policies and procedures including plant emergency procedures, Must be alert for changing conditions and taking any\/all actions required, Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.\n

Physical Involvement:\n
