Within Beauty Production we are working with all brands within H&M Group who develop and produce private label cosmetics;
This is a temporary position for 12 months, located at our creative and dynamic H&M production office at Taikoo Hui in Shanghai downtown.
H&M Group does not own any factories or production plants; instead, H&M Group works with several independent cosmetic contract manufacturers located mainly in EU and Asia. As a chemist you are responsible for securing product quality and compliance from product brief to launch and on market. You will be working close together with our in-house chemist team, Quality Manager, Merchandisers, Product Developers, Marketing and our contract manufacturers.
The main responsibilities within the role are:
Review Cosmetic Quality related documents such as INCI, PI files, Relevant Test report and etc for all brands in H&M Beauty.
Inform all concerned in case there are changes in H&M Chemical restrictions.
Support project move forward and any necessary task
QualificationsWe see that you:
Professional education in Chemistry, preferably in Organic/Pharmaceutical/Analytical/Medicinal chemistry
1 ~ 2 years working experience in a cosmetic industry, formulation work, research and development.
Experience in development/production of skin contact products Knowledge and Skill requirements
Excellent English communication skills: written, verbal and presentation skills
Teamwork and interpersonal skills
Good Time management and organized.
Strong analytical skills
