Job Title: Chemist

Job Description

The Chemist will be responsible for daily QC testing of incoming samples and raw materials. Their job is to verify the batches that production makes. The job will consist of 90% lab testing with 10% involving floor sampling and environmental monitoring (EM) for about 1 hour per shift. Initially, the Chemist will use an auto-titrator and, as they gain confidence and skill, will progress to more complex testing on finished products. Accurate testing is critical as errors, particularly in microbiological testing, can be costly and require investigations. The first three months will focus on learning core skills. After a year of hard work and meeting expectations, the Chemist can begin handling more complex testing.
