Job Title: ChemistJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Chemist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, with a preference for those who have prior laboratory experience. This role requires excellent wet chemistry skills, knowledge of various analytical instruments, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities + Operation and routine maintenance of analytical equipment + Upkeep of analytical methods and procedures + Work efficiently and effectively on major project teams + Preparation of quality customer reports and project portfolio management + Customer interfacing, including correspondence and presentations + Compliance with and understanding of corporate standards, including safety, housekeeping, and quality + Upkeep of digital programs such as Microsoft, LIMS, and statistical analysis Essential Skills + Bachelor or Master degree in chemistry + Prior laboratory experience preferred + Good wet chemistry skills, including titration, filtration, dilution, extraction, and gravimetric determinations + Knowledge and experience with GC-FID, ICP, IC, SEM/EDS, and FTIR is desirable + Prior use of pH and specific ion electrode meters + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment + Excellent attention to detail + Strong chemical math skills + Strong PC skills + Solid interpersonal skills Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in an analytical laboratory is highly desirable + Experience with quality control and quality assurance + Knowledge of laboratory digital programs and statistical analysis Work Environment This position is based in a lab/plant environment. The work involves handling various chemicals and operating laboratory equipment. The role requires adherence to safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
