ChemistResponsibilitiesAssist in the execution of the laboratory work necessary for commercialization of pharmaceutical products.Perform hands-on laboratory bench work preparing solutions and processing samples for testing in accordance with approved procedures and methods.Conduct laboratory work with a high degree of accuracy and precision, including but not limited to, quantitative weighing, dilution, sample handling, and processing.Ensure all laboratory work is documented in accordance with approved procedures.Perform and maintain labeling for solutions and samples, and maintain an organized workspace to ensure there is no chance of mix-up.Process sample data to determine reported results, ensuring results are reported appropriately in designated computerized systems and/or directly to stakeholders.Review data to ensure conformance with specifications and trends, and immediately report unexpected data to laboratory management for further investigation.Comply with laboratory procedures and SOPs, following written and verbal directions from senior chemists to execute tasks and develop skills and independence commensurate with training and experience.Build knowledge and prowess offered through training and guidance to increase manual skills and competence on instrumental analysis using HPLC, GC, dissolution, UV-visible spectrophotometry, and other techniques.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Chemistry or related science.Academic knowledge of chemistry, mathematics, and laboratory concepts.Academic exposure and knowledge of the majority of the following: HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectroscopy, titration, and wet chemistry.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in using computerized systems for data entry and reporting.Work Environment

Monday through Friday, during the 1st shift. The work environment is a laboratory setting requiring the use of specialized equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
