Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Chemist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, with a preference for those who have prior laboratory experience. This role requires excellent wet chemistry skills, knowledge of various analytical instruments, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

ResponsibilitiesOperation and routine maintenance of analytical equipmentUpkeep of analytical methods and proceduresWork efficiently and effectively on major project teamsPreparation of quality customer reports and project portfolio managementCustomer interfacing, including correspondence and presentationsCompliance with and understanding of corporate standards, including safety, housekeeping, and qualityUpkeep of digital programs such as Microsoft, LIMS, and statistical analysisEssential SkillsBachelor or Master degree in chemistryPrior laboratory experience preferredGood wet chemistry skills, including titration, filtration, dilution, extraction, and gravimetric determinationsKnowledge and experience with GC-FID, ICP, IC, SEM/EDS, and FTIR is desirablePrior use of pH and specific ion electrode metersAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent attention to detailStrong chemical math skillsStrong PC skillsSolid interpersonal skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in an analytical laboratory is highly desirableExperience with quality control and quality assuranceKnowledge of laboratory digital programs and statistical analysisWork Environment

This position is based in a lab/plant environment. The work involves handling various chemicals and operating laboratory equipment. The role requires adherence to safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
