Use an analytical balance, auto-pipets, volumetric pipets, perform calibration checks and associated calculations Understand standard and reagent makeup, i.e.% volume/volume, % weight/volume, ppm, ppb Keep chemicals stored properly and storage areas clean and labeled; monitor chemical usage; discard when past expiration date Analyze and interpret data Titrations of plating solutions Troubleshoot complex problems with analyses Know, understand and adhere to applicable procedures and work instructions Troubleshoot complex instrument and equipment problems Understand and follow the wastewater permit, test and sampling plans Have a working knowledge MS Office Working knowledge of Inductively Coupled Plasma a plus
