Associate Scientist Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Associate Scientist to join our 2nd shift team. The successful candidate will perform routine tests on finished products, stability samples, raw materials, and CV samples. The role involves using various techniques and equipment, including UV, HPLC, and water determination by KF, to ensure compliance with in-house monographs and USP standards in a regulated laboratory environment. Responsibilities + Perform routine tests on finished products, stability samples, raw materials, and CV samples using techniques such as UV, HPLC, and water determination by KF. + Evaluate test results and determine the acceptability of the samples based on these results. + Maintain accurate lab notebooks and complete all related analytical reports, write summaries, and ensure proper documentation in compliance with SOPs. + Maintain the laboratories with good housekeeping practices and ensure compliance with cGMP standards. + Ensure lab notebooks are reviewed promptly, in accordance with SOPs. + Analyze and interpret results in both written and oral formats. + Assist in training new analysts. + Conduct laboratory investigations and initiate quality events, CAPA, and change controls as needed. + Follow all SOPs and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with a cGMP environment. Essential Skills + Proficiency in HPLC, UPLC, UV-Vis, and other analytical techniques. + Strong knowledge in chemistry and familiarity with FDA and GMP regulations. + Experience in a regulated laboratory environment. + Effective English written and oral communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + BS Degree, preferably in chemistry, pharmacy, or related fields. + 1-2 years of experience with HPLC. + Computer literacy and familiarity with analytical and process equipment used in laboratories such as HPLC, IR/FTIR, UV-Vis AA, powder blender. Work Environment Lab environment; FDA and GMP regulated.
