Description

Will work as part of a team of 3 doing wet chemistry: ph, balances, titrations, refractometers, FTIR, UV-Vis, GC. Day to day responsibilities include inbound, outbound, packaged, raw materials and blends. Working with mostly solvents- methanol, ethanol, etc, corrosives, flammables, and some acids. High throughput testing. Safety is very important to them- no spills or incidents in the lab, no misloads coming out of the lab- high quality and safety standards. Expected to participate in their service excellence meetings to meet customer expectations and maintain 100% lab data integrity- includes constant revision of lab procedures, reporting near-misses, equipment calibrations. They will be trained by the SRQ Manager and then they have a sr technician coming back in February.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Able to communicate with other departments and collaborate cross-functionally to complete projects in a time effective manner- will work with customer service teams for customer inquiries or COAs, may ask questions about product properties- will take phone calls from those depts as well as the operations/plant (so good communication skills)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $29.00
