Job Description
Provide analytical services and results accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner to clients. Analyze samples using LC conventional, MS, MSMS, and other detection techniques. Propose improvements and stabilize analytical processes. Perform extractions and sample analysis as per documented methods and Standard Operating Procedures. Troubleshoot issues with analytical procedures and perform routine and preventative maintenance, verification, and calibration of analytical instrumentation. Routinely analyze, which includes screening, quantitation, and reporting, of large-scale pesticide panels.
ResponsibilitiesProvide accurate and efficient analytical services and results to clients.Analyze samples using LC conventional, MS, MSMS, and other detection techniques.Propose improvements and stabilize analytical processes.Perform extractions and sample analysis as per documented methods and Standard Operating Procedures.Troubleshoot issues with analytical procedures.Perform routine and preventative maintenance, verification, and calibration of analytical instrumentation.Routinely analyze large-scale pesticide panels, including screening, quantitation, and reporting.Essential SkillsProficiency in liquid chromatography (LC), mass spectrometry (MS), LCMS/MS, MSMS, gas chromatography (GC), and tandem mass spectrometry.Experience with laboratory quality assurance and assay techniques.2+ years of analytical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Liquid Chromatographic instrumentation.Experience analyzing and producing data packages for small and larger data sets.Analytical and extraction method troubleshooting, development, and optimization.Knowledge of analytical instrumentation and data analysis software packages such as Analyst, Sciex OS, Multiquant, Tracefinder, Chromeleon, or equivalent.Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related science from a four-year college or university.Additional Skills & QualificationsComfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Experience with sample preparation, extraction, and general bench chemistry techniques.Work Environment
Fast-paced analytical laboratory with a schedule of 9:00am – 5:30pm. Designated free parking downtown. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $58240.00
