As a CBRE LTS Chemist, you will perform multiple laboratory functions and various types of laboratory analysis. This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for performing stress degradation studies and analysis in critical client environments. **What You’ll Do:** + Perform a variety of instrumental analysis to produce data. + Conduct routine analyses in compliance with applicable methods, protocols, SOPs, and regulatory agency guidelines. + Operate a variety of instrumentation to generate comprehensive and high-quality analytical results. Instrumentation may include HPLC, preparatory HPLC, UPLC, Lyophilizer, Mass spectrometers, microscopes, and X-ray diffractometers. + Provide support on developing analytical protocols and processes covering all Chemistry activity under scope of Full Spectrum Lab Services. + Synthesize, analyze, and purify compounds as required. + Perform method analysis and development. + Perform daily work activities with computer programs which may include Chemstation, Empower, and Microsoft programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel. + This list of duties is not exhaustive and can change. **What You’ll Need:** + High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 8-10 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Prior shift leader or supervisory experience preferred. + Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. + Advanced analytical and quantitative skills. + Ability to identify and solves the most complex problems. + Ability to comprehend, analyst, and interpret documents, + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Expert organizational skills with an unrivaled inquisitive mindset. + Expert math skills. Ability to calculate complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations. + Attention to details in a fast pace environment.
