Job Title: Associate Analytical Chemist - Contaminants
Job Description

We are seeking an Associate Analytical Chemist specializing in contaminants to join our dynamic team. The role offers a variety of assays (63-70 different methods for analysis), though each chemist will be assigned to a specific product family and will learn the relevant methods for that group. Initially, the work will focus on wet chemistry tasks such as dilutions, centrifuge operations, and weighing samples. Future opportunities will include working with analytical instrumentation like LC-MS and GC-MS. This is a 6-month project-based role with potential for permanent hire.

The role is based in a lab setting within a fast-paced environment that operates similarly to production work, requiring timely completion of tests according to client deadlines. The work can become repetitive depending on the assigned group. The facility uses a variety of instrumentation including UPLC, HPLC, GC, and LCMS technologies. The lab specializes in food chemistry testing, including infant formula, sole-source nutrition products, hemp and CBD, dietary supplements, and various botanicals. The company offers education reimbursement up to $5,000 per calendar year for full-time employees who have completed six months of service and are in good standing. This lab houses 400 employees and is located in a new, state-of-the-art facility in Madison, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
