EFI is looking for a Chemist to join our Inkjet Solutions Business Unit in our Ypsilanti, MI office.  In this role, you will work with an experienced team supporting inks and coatings for industrial inkjet printers.

 

What you will do:

·        Works hands-on in the lab supporting existing ink products

·        Support and troubleshoot issues with existing ink technologies as well as customer challenges.

Maintain and update the alternates spreadsheets and ink risk registers.Summarize and present technical data clearly and appropriately.

·        Work independently and within a team.

·        Work closely with manufacturing.

·        Communicate regularly with all stakeholders and chemists.

 

This role might be a good fit if you:

·        Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemistry or equivalent.

·        Have good communication, and interpersonal skills.

·        Have at least 3 years printing or related industry experience, plus.

·        Are experienced in water based and or UV ink and or coating development.

·        Are experienced with inkjet technology

·        Are passionate, innovative, and motivated.

·        Are proficient in chemistry/physical sciences.
