As a Chemist I here at the Honeywell, Bryan, Texas facility,\nyou will employ your expertise of chemistry fundamentals and critical thinking\nin a clean room environment, while adhering to safe working practice/protocols\nto help Honeywell deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of\nour internal and external customers. You will work under direct/indirect\nsupervision and provide expert input to a highly driven team and collaborate\nwith cross-functional teams to ensure quality targets/goals are met. You will\nconduct analyses on advanced instrumentation (ICP-MS, IC, LPC, UV-Vis) to\ncertify quality specifications are met. You will be a part of a group of highly\ncommitted professionals who provide expertise and ensure the success of our\nprojects and programs.
In\nthis second-shift role, you will contribute to the overall success of our plant,\nprojects and programs.

Key Responsibilities

Perform chemistry tests using Wet Lab techniquesRun chemical analyses using advanced instrumentationAid in the development of manufacturing procedures as neededDevelop and validate quality control test methodologies using Measurement System Analysis (MSA)Provide technical expertise in analytical chemistry and instrument operation and maintenance—troubleshoot and maintain equipment as necessaryProvide high-quality and timely analysis while adhering to all HSE protocolsEscalation of critical, time-sensitive informationGenerate continuous improvement ideas

Bachelor's degree in chemistry or\nrelated science degree1—2 years of experience working in a\nchemical manufacturing environment
