responsibilities:
+ Achieve a high level of productivity in the laboratory by supporting other chemists in library production and processing, as well as managing your own library production runs.
+ Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of a wide array of experimental techniques and methods in organic synthesis and data analysis.
+ Continuously seek out and acquire knowledge of emerging chemistry technologies.
+ Develop a deep understanding of these technologies and master their application within the laboratory setting to enhance research and development processes.
+ Leverage available information and technical expertise to effectively address and solve key challenges in chemistry technology, specifically in areas such as library synthesis and data analysis.
+ Clearly and effectively write and communicate research reports and updates. Utilize email communication to ensure results are promptly and accurately conveyed to fellow chemists.
+ Show a high degree of responsibility in maintaining scientific standards and safe laboratory practices.
+ Work closely with functional and technical experts to facilitate scientific achievement.
qualifications:
+ BS or MS in Chemistry. Demonstrated ability to resolve project hurdles by effectively using available information and technical expertise.
+ Evident knowledge in the field of chemistry.
+ A BS in Chemistry with over 2 years of industry experience, or an MS in Chemistry at the introductory level.
+ Preferred candidates will have experience with the use of lab automation.
+ This includes familiarity with automated laboratory equipment, robotic systems, and software tools designed to streamline and enhance experimental processes, thereby improving efficiency and accuracy in data collection and analysis.
+ Previous experience conducting research in a laboratory setting is highly desired.
+ This includes hands-on involvement in scientific experiments, data collection, and analysis, showcasing a solid understanding of laboratory protocols and best practices.
