Job Title: Chemist II
Job Description

Conduct research and experiments to develop new chemical products and processes. Analyze chemical compounds and materials to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and improve product performance. Maintain accurate records of experiments, results, and processes. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to chemical processes and products.

ResponsibilitiesConduct research and experiments to develop new chemical products and processes.Analyze chemical compounds and materials to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and improve product performance.Maintain accurate records of experiments, results, and processes.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to chemical processes and products.Essential SkillsStrong knowledge of chemistry and analytical chemistry.Experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).Proficiency in laboratory techniques, including quality control and wet chemistry.Experience with titration and FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy).Familiarity with chemical compounds such as Lead, Nitrogen, Fluoride, Arsenic, and Selenium across various grades (ACS/USP/FCC/JP/EP).1-3 years of industry experience.Experience with Class A volumetric pipetting.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a small team environment.Ability to learn and perform hands-on testing.Excellent record-keeping skills.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Work Environment

Small lab-based environment with a team that includes two QC Managers and one Jr Chemist. The team is looking to add a full-time Tech Writer. The work environment provides a great opportunity for hands-on testing and experience due to its small team setup.
