Our client, is seeking a Chemist II to join their team. **Job Title:** Chemist **Location:** **Onsite in 440 College Park Drive Monroeville PA 15146** **What’s the Job?** Key Responsibilities: Following standard operating procedures and industry standards for formula mixing, sample preparation, and testing Precise measurement and mixing of formula ingredients described by a formulation log Preparing test specimens for a variety of tests • Creating a collaborative and inclusive work environment • Upholding safety standards for the team, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and following safety guidelines • Documenting and reporting experimental details • Keen observation of experimental details and external factors • Time management and work efficiency • Independently planning and executing all aspects of an experiment following a discussion of objectives with the supervisor • Interpreting data and making recommendations for future work Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in material science, chemistry or similar technical field • 0-1 year laboratory experience • Hands-on experience with formulations and coatings is desired • Strong attention to detail and ability to keep track of multiple project tasks Schedule: Mon-Fri typically 8:00am-5:00pm. Schedule is flexible after the training period with start times between 6:00am-8:00am, working 8 hours/day.
