Job Description
+ We are seeking a Chemist II for a contract position in the Product Development Science and Technology Analytical Development (PDST AD-LC) group.
+ This global analytical sciences organization is responsible for all CMC analytical activities related to the development of therapeutic biologic products. The role will support method development, robustness, and validation studies, and other laboratory testing as needed.
Responsibilities
+ Develop, optimize, and validate commercial methods.
+ Support commercial formulation and process development studies.
+ Lead tech transfer of final methods to commercial testing labs in Operations QC.
+ Deliver robust analytical methods suitable for commercial QC labs.
+ Prepare comprehensive data packages that drive product and process understanding.
+ Conduct clinical supplies release testing and stability studies.
+ Establish clinical product dating and support clinical trial application and marketing authorization submissions.
Essential Skills
+ BS in Chemistry or related field with 3 to 5 years of lab experience or a Master's Degree.
+ Practical experience and knowledge of protein HPLC (e.g., SEC, IEX, HIC), capillary electrophoresis, and other separation techniques as applied to protein analysis.
Work Environment
+ The role is based in a laboratory setting within the Product Development Science and Technology Analytical Development group in Lake County.
+ The environment includes the use of advanced analytical instruments and software.
+ The candidate should be comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team, maintaining rigorous laboratory practices, and adhering to timelines.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
