**Chemist III** Laboratory Middlesex County, NJ, NONE Pay Rate Low: 38 | Pay Rate High: 43 + Added - 14/01/2025 Apply for Job **Our chemicals client in Middlesex County is seeking a Chemist III that is fully trained in HPLC.** **Shift:** **1st shift (Mon-Fri)** **Pay:** **$38-$43/hr** **Type:** **Contract** **Responsibilities** + Performs tests on various manufactured product samples to verify compliance with established specifications. + Uses standard laboratory equipment such as analytical balances, pH meters, volumetric glassware, and spectrophotometers. May also operate advanced instruments like Gas Chromatography (GC) and High-Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). + Conducts tests on different materials to evaluate quality characteristics, including purity, stability, viscosity, density, absorption, and melting point. + Records test results in standardized forms and laboratory notebooks, following Good Documentation Practices (GDP). + Prepares comprehensive test reports detailing procedures and applies basic mathematical analysis to interpret findings. + Supports Out-of-Specification (OOS) investigations to quickly identify and address scientific issues. **Requirements** + Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry with a minimum of 3 years of laboratory experience in a cGMP environment. + Fully trained in HPLC operation and analysis.
