You’ll lead **innovative research** into detecting and treating **PFAS and emerging contaminants** using **advanced electrochemical techniques** . Working both independently and with cross-functional teams, you’ll help shape the future of **water quality analytics.** **What You’ll Do:** + **Pioneer New Methods –** Develop cutting- **edge electro-oxidation techniques** for water testing applications. + **Collaborate & Innovate –** Work with internal teams and external partners to evaluate new water treatment technologies. + **Hands-on Experimentation –** Conduct lab research, troubleshoot technical challenges, and optimize performance. + **Fieldwork & Application –** Travel to key sites to test real-world applications and gather insights. + **Data-Driven Impact –** Design experiments, analyze results, and apply statistical models to refine solutions. + **Shape the Future –** Translate market needs into actionable research projects that drive industry-leading solutions. **Required Qualifications:** + **Bachelor’s (5+ years) Master’s (2+ years) or PhD (1+ year) in Analytical Chemistry or a related field** + **Expertise in Electrochemical Techniques** **required** - Bulk electrolysis experience and water analytics preferred. + **Strong Background in Chemistry** – Experience in at least two fields (analytical, physical, inorganic). + **PFAS & Emerging Contaminants Experience** – Knowledge in environmental analysis is highly valued. + **Problem-Solving Mindset** – Ability to design experiments and tackle complex challenges. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The compensation range for this role is $90,000 - $97,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
