Our client, In the food processing industry is seeking a Chemist Lv1 to join their team. **Job Title:** Chemist Lv1 **Location:** Dayton, OH **Pay Range: $29 - $31 (per hour)** **Summary of the Position:** The Chemist Level 1 will ensure products meet or exceed customer requirements for quality and food safety while developing an in-depth understanding of specific systems. **Key Responsibilities:** + Assess quality parameters and systems, including cross-checks, raw materials, calibration, maintenance, procedures, food safety, training, auditing, and oversight of analytical testing performed in control rooms. + Provide process improvement support, specialized testing, training, and audit systems. + Analyze data, identify trends, troubleshoot issues, implement corrective actions, and communicate findings related to processing data, final product, and wastewater. + Maintain and coordinate the chemist-technician partnership and training systems. + Approve final production to ensure compliance with customer specifications. + Handle customer audits, initiatives, and follow-ups. + Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, escalating more complex issues as needed. **Qualifications:** + Education: Bachelor’s degree in a scientific-related field required. + Experience: Entry-level position; college coursework experience required. + Preferred Experience: Laboratory experience.
