Job Title: Chemist OperatorJob Description This person will facilitate chemical reactions for the API (active pharmaceutical ingredients) and flavor and fragrance industries. They will produce APIs and directly make chemicals related to vaccines and other API ingredients for the pharmaceutical industry. Responsibilities include working with glassware and other small-scale systems to produce products, moving carts of chemicals and packaging into reactors (50lb lifting requirement), and working with reaction chambers, distillation equipment (20L to 200L), and drying filters (50 gallons to 1500 gallons). Work Environment This position is on 3rd shift but may train on 1st shift. 1st shift hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm. 3rd shift hours: 11pm - 7am.
