Job Summary:
Graver Technologies is looking for Chemistry Intern to work with our Research & Development Team. The Intern will support our Research Team performing a wide variety of scientific activities, mainly to advance product development within our Adsorbent segment. This opportunity provides hands-on experience in a research environment and an opportunity to apply “book learning” to real world research challenges. The intern will have a project that provides a meaningful impact to the business and will present their project /findings to leadership.

Job Requirements:
Set up and monitor experimentsRecord data generated from experiments and analyze findingsOperate general analytical instrumentation to support experimentsReport and review results with appropriate team membersMake a formal presentation to site leadership discussing their projects, approach, key findings, value, and the results their project provides to the organizationOther duties may be assigned as requiredTechnical Skill and Requirements:
Demonstrated ability in general laboratory techniquesExperience with instrumental analysisAbility to perform chemical and mathematical calculationsAbility to follow general laboratory safety proceduresKnowledgeable with computer software such as MS Excel and WordMust be able to lift 20+ lbs. on occasion to perform some experimentsEducation Requirement:
Currently enrolled in an accredited BS Chemistry program (or similar) with two or more years completed Instrumental analysis and/or analytical chemistry coursework completedFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.
