We're looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Chemical Technicians! **Key Responsibilities:** + Assist chemists with laboratory tasks and setup. + Prepare samples, standards, and solutions, including volumetric and gravimetric preparations, and sample extractions. + Set up, calibrate, and operate laboratory equipment. + Perform standard laboratory analyses under direct supervision. + Accurately record and document test results in lab notebooks, forms, and other documents. + Ensure compliance with lab procedures and regulations. + Maintain laboratory equipment, including cleaning glassware and pipettes. + Manage reagent and sample log-in/out processes, and order supplies as needed. + Utilize Microsoft Office and laboratory software (LIMS, Qumas) for data entry and analysis. + Assist in writing, revising, and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). + Demonstrate understanding of laboratory safety protocols. **Requirements:** + **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field. + **Experience:** 0-2 years of experience in an analytical laboratory setting (recent graduates welcome!). + **Skills:** + Understanding of analytical chemistry principles. + Familiarity with lab safety protocols and hazardous chemical handling. + Strong organizational and communication skills. + Proficiency in intermediate mathematics (algebra, statistics, basic geometry). + Ability to analyze data and draw logical conclusions. + **Technical Knowledge:** Experience with trace organic GC-MS is a plus, and familiarity with LIMS software is preferred.
