Our activity is looking for an Chemistry laboratory apprentice for its R&D Center based in Bavans (30 min from Belfort; 15 min from Monbéliard; near Switzerland). The Center R&D from Bavans, with close to 1000 collaborators, develop innovative solutions for sustainable and clean mobility. It is Forvia's global center of expertise on hydrogen storage systems.

 

Internship duration 12 months, from September 2024.

 

What makes the position interesting ?

You will have strong interactions with business and customer teams. Yours analyzes will mainly focus on the materials making up the hydrogen tanks, ranging from quality control of materials to the development of new analysis methods.

You will be working on challenges that matter

Your missions:

Participate in analyzes and customer requests: Meeting follow-up, Prepare samples, Carry out analyzes, Write test reportsManagement of a schedule and compliance with analysis deadlinesMonitoring of HSE rulesUse of different analytical equipment according to needs: Sample preparation and solution techniques, Thermal analyzes (DSC, Thermogravimetry), FTIR, Karl Fisher, Microscopy, SEM-EDX, Viscometer

 

What if it were you?

Coming from Bac+2 and/or Bac+3 level training in chemistry (with a specialization in analytical chemistry). You are comfortable communicating in English.
