Analyze and organize work by matching computer orders with specimen labeling, sorting specimens, checking labeling, logging specimens, and arranging reports for delivery. + Maintain clean and orderly work surfaces. Monitor test analyses and specimen examinations to ensure acceptable levels of analytic performance. + Maintain quality results by running standards and controls, verifying equipment function through routine maintenance and troubleshooting, and calibrating equipment using approved testing procedures. + Process and test up to 1000 samples per shift, working with blood/urine samples and performing necessary testing. Maintain records that demonstrate proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient specimens. Nice to have: + Beckman-Coulter AU680 + ASCP Certified or eligible Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Work Environment + Lab includes R&D, specimen receiving, chemistry, and microbiology. + Training hours are M-F, 6:30am/7am to 3:30pm/4pm.
