In addition to highly competitive salaries, we offer a bonus program, 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase program; comprehensive medical, dental and vision benefits, including a robust wellness program; paid time off for vacation, holidays, and sick days; and much more. **Primary Purpose of Position** To obtain samples, prepare the samples, and analyze the samples for chemical and radioanalytical analysis from plant systems. **Primary Duties and Accountabilities** · Record and trend data from the chemical analysis. · Notify chemistry management for out of specification conditions and adverse trends. · Respond to operations chemistry needs. · Support environmental sampling by obtaining, preparing, analyzing, and shipping samples off site, as required. · Perform the on-shift chemistry technician emergency plan duties. · Perform inventories of chemicals, equipment, and supplies. · Maintain the laboratory and instruments in top material condition with good housekeeping. · Perform self-monitoring of radiation dose equivalent and perform associated radiological surveys for chemistry related tasks. · As required, to changeout gas bottles for chemical and counting room instrument; to change resin columns for laboratory demineralized water systems; and to replace chart paper on recorders. **Minimum Qualifications** · High School diploma or GED · Ability to pass pre-employment EEI TECH testing · Ability to work different shifts · Ability to receive unescorted Nuclear access · Excellent communication, teamwork and organizational skills · **AND at least one of the following requirements below** : o Bachelor degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent degree **OR** · o Two years work experience in chemistry **OR** · o Navy nuclear experience as an Engineering Lab Technician (ELT) Starting Pay rate $41.40 - 53.90 (varies based on qualification level) Constellation is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and employees or applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to: age, color, disability, gender, national origin, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, protected veteran status, or any other classification protected by federal, state, or local law.
