Chest Pain Coordinator - FT
Job Description

Under the direct supervision of the Cath Lab Director and CQO is responsible for leadership between departments such as Emergency Department, Cath Lab, Telemetry, and Intensive Care Unit along with other entities within the hospital to promote excellence in caring for the cardiac patient. This position will also assist in the planning, development and implementation of program goals and operations related to chest pain accreditation. Coordinates and oversees the ongoing CQI process to improve care of the cardiac patient population.

Education:

Preferred: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing

Experience:

Required: Three (3) years of Clinical Nursing Experience
Required: Strong Computer Skill; MS Office, Database Management
Preferred: Two (2) years of leadership experience
Preferred: Knowledge of process improvement, change management concepts, and understanding of statistical applications

Licenses/Certificates:

Required: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) - Due by COB on the last day of the month after one (1) full month of work
