Job Summary

As a Managing Director in the Chief Administrative Office (CAO) - Payments, you will take on a crucial leadership role within the fast-paced payments industry. Your responsibilities will include providing strategic, operational, and administrative support to the EMEA Head of Payments, ensuring efficient governance, compliance, and execution across the region. As a senior leader representing EMEA Payments, you will act as a delegate for the EMEA Head of Payments at various governance forums. This role offers the opportunity to streamline administrative processes, establish an effective organizational structure, and build strong partnerships with risk and control functions. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to utilize data analytics to influence key business decisions and consider emerging trends.

Job Responsibilities

Streamline administrative processes to ensure maximum operational efficiency. Establish an effective organizational structure for the CAO team, focusing on customer focus, operational excellence, and continuous innovation. Facilitate collaboration across departments to deliver operational efficiency. Advise the regional Head of EMEA Payments on regulatory requirements across all jurisdictions. Build strong partnerships with risk and control functions to develop a robust governance framework; oversee risk management practices to minimize vulnerabilities and enhance governance and oversight. Collaborate with the executive team, including Product, Sales, regional heads, and key functional partners; and work across the CIB with partners such as Bankers, CB, and the firm’s EMEA CFO and CEO teams. Support the organization’s vision and objectives, anticipate issues, and innovate. Use data analytics to drive key business decisions and consider emerging trends; identify and mitigate potential risks, develop strategies, and implement controls. Act as a thought leader to drive problem-solving and escalate issues as needed. Understand accounting, financials, RWA/capital impacts, liquidity/funding, and EU regulations. Promote the firm’s principles and Code of Conduct, and build diversity, equity, and inclusion in teams;  develop collaborative relationships with team and stakeholders, and maintain open communication during change processes.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Extensive experience in senior management roles. Demonstrable experience in driving change, designing organization structures, and building teams. Strong knowledge of global markets, including equity, credit, fixed income, and corporate debt markets. High degree of ethics and integrity. Experience working collaboratively under pressure in a team-based environment.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Similar experience in banking/financial services operations, multinational operations, or a large enterprise. Familiarity with systematic strategies and index trading.
