**Position Description:**
Performs specialized analytical duties in the operation and maintenance of assigned area. Responsibilities include collecting, analyzing and developing data relative to area, making recommendations and assisting in implementation of projects. Work is performed under general supervision with latitude for independent judgement in accordance with established policies and procedures.

**Major/Essential Functions:**
+ Manage, coordinate, and track projects, timelines and milestones supporting institutional and academic initiatives, educational programs, and technical services to meet stakeholder’s expectations, priorities and deadlines according to the requirements gathered through collaborated efforts with IT sections, facilities, and vendors involved.
+ Manage system administration, support and updates of all school program’s current and future curricular applications platforms by incorporating requirements gathering, troubleshooting, report building, management of enhancements through communication with stakeholders, vendors and other IT units.
+ Manage and facilitate technical support endeavors within all school programs (SOM, SON, GSBS, and SODM) as main point of contact for IT initiatives related to academic, infrastructure, network, systems, security, PC support and Classroom Technology and assist faculty and staff with use of software, equipment, and address issues that may arise.
+ Plan, implement and evaluate strategic initiatives, including special projects, as well as the development, management, administration of all systems and processes within the schools.
+ Assess business processes to provide technical guidance and software solutions related to the educational programs through a requirement gathering elicitation process by analysis, testing, and validation of systems platforms, determining areas for improvement. Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
+ Develop a strategic plan that addresses faculty and staff curriculum related software/hardware training needs providing guidance and coaching support as needed through effective learning sessions, manuals, videos, live event classes that offer opportunities for ongoing development. Oversee its implementation and assess its outcome, identify future and current training needs.
+ Establish standardized procedures to ensure effective technical support, protect assets, and control expenses by planning and scheduling preventative maintenance, managing software proposals/updates and identify expiration of service records, warranties, contracts, agreements, and physical inventory checks on equipment listed in IT inventory.
+ Participation in LCME, SACSCOC, CCNE, and CODA mock and live interviews sessions/site visit process, and provide documentation and technical feedback to accreditation members on all academic related applications available to our school programs (learning management systems, curriculum management system, and evaluation systems).
+ Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures and processes.

+ Perform other duties as assigned, jobs related functions, and tasks in a professional and timely manner.
+ Participate in after-hours on-call technical support schedule providing customer service, and testing software upgrades while engaging other related IT units and/or vendors, and report any findings.
