The ideal candidate will exhibit unparalleled leadership qualities, a profound understanding of communication principles, and an unwavering commitment to fostering a cohesive and engaging communication environment. **What You'll Do:** + **Strategic Visionary:** Translate the Providence and division vision, goals, and strategies into effective annual and long-range communication and marketing strategies, programs, and plans. + **Integration Champion:** Oversee all integration communications and collaborate with leaders to distribute key messages within the Division, ensuring that every voice is heard, and every message aligns with our overarching goals. + **Systemwide Collaborator:** Work with your peers across Providence’s national communications team and central and south division communication teams to drive an aligned message across the Providence seven-state footprint. + **Mission Advocate:** Actively support and incorporate Providence's mission and core values into all communications materials, fostering key relationships on behalf of Providence. + **Relationship Builder:** Develop, implement, and monitor relationship-building plans within the communities in collaboration with our government affairs and community health investment teams and senior executives. + **Steward of Resources:** Develop and manage the annual communications and marketing budget, ensuring prudent stewardship of resources. + **Guardian of Reputation:** Be accountable for the external image of the region, maintaining a keen understanding of its business and mission as it relates to communications with the news media, general public, community leaders, elected officials, business leaders, healthcare leaders, and community advocacy groups. + **Crisis Communicator:** Manage internal and external crisis communications for Providence, addressing issues such as lawsuits, mergers, labor organizing, system growth, and capital programs. + **Brand Custodian:** Uphold corporate brand and graphic standards, ensuring consistency and quality across all platforms. + **Team Leader:** Select and guide the marketing and communication staff supporting regional strategies, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. + **Audience Expert:** Demonstrate a deep understanding of the customers and audiences we serve. + **Project Manager:** Oversee all projects and production schedules to meet deadlines efficiently. + **Strategic Partner:** Strategically partner and collaborate with colleagues in Marketing to ensure a cohesive message in the market. **What You'll Bring:** + **Educational Background:** A Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Marketing, Journalism, or Public/Media Relations is required.
