Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Chief Engineer to join our team!

The Chief Engineer will be capable of collaborating on designs, able to assist with requirement deconstruction, and review work products to ensure sound technical solutions. They will also be able to provide feedback to the team on the quality of solution and recommend improvements or changes if required.

What You'll Be Doing:

Work with customer to provide competent technical leadership and responsible project direction through successful performance of a variety of detailed, diverse elements of project management tasks.Direct completion of tasks within estimated timeframes and budget constraints, while interfacing with client counterparts when appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Active Top Secret security clearance with willingness to be submitted for a polygraph upgradeBachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer and Information Security, Computer Security, and/or Network Administration from an accredited university/college; or a Master's degree in Computer Science or related scientific/technical field.Minimum of 8 years of experience providing competent technical leadership in designing, architecting, and supporting technical systems.Be able to collect requirements and turn them into designs and action plans for team to execute.Be capable of reviewing technical capabilities for use with new requirements.Expert level experience with designing, architecting, and supporting both Cisco and Linux routing enterprise systems.Knowledge of various Virtual Private Network (VPN) technologies such as Internet Protocol Security (IPSEC) and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encrypted tunnels.Be able to integrate Cloud Provider services such as Virtual Private Servers (VPS), Dynamic Domain Name System (DNS), and Web Hosting.Additional education, training, certifications, or work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree or work experience at the customer's discretion
