Eaton’s AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division is currently seeking a Chief Engineer. This position is an onsite role, and is located at our Euclid, OH facility. Relocation benefits are available from within the United States!
The Euclid facility has approximately 325 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of aerospace main engine fuel pumps and components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $140,000.00 - $200,000.00 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:
The Chief Engineer will be responsible for both strategic and tactical assignments supporting the needs for the design and development of fuel systems and components for the Fuel and Motion Control (FMC) Division - Euclid facility. This position provides technical direction of product design in all PROLaunch phases and is responsible for quality and robustness of product design solutions of new or modified designs. This role externally represents Eaton Aerospace for specified product group and internally develops technical competencies within the engineering organization.

Basic (Required) Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering from an accredited institutionMinimum fifteen (15) years of design/development experience in the aerospace industry Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future This position requires the use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the international Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be US persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a US Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred Experience:
Experience supporting manufacturing operationsDesign and development experience of aircraft fuel systems and components such as engine and airframe fuel pumpsProven track record of developing, defining, and protecting (through patents and trade secrets) solutions to complex mechanical design problemsMasters degree preferred.Experience and knowledge of aerospace industry including platforms, systems, and componentsStrong knowledge with Aerospace industry and military specifications including SAE, MIL, and ASTMExperience leading complex RCCA investigations including the use of 8D tools.Knowledge of Eaton products a plusStrong leadership skills proven track record of team developmentRobust and disciplined problem solving approachKnowledge of the gated aerospace product development processExpertise in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and general drawing standards is a plusWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
