The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a Chief Engineer. The Chief Engineer is responsible for the management, supervision, and professional development of all building engineering personnel. Responsibilities include but aren't limited to: Daily Checks with Building Engineers and Technicians Weekly Reports Time Sheet Review Time Exception Review Overtime PTO Screen, hire, supervise, and coordinate training activities for engineering staff. Provide technical support, job delegation, and project management to engineering team. Assist with reducing operating expenses while maintaining and enhancing the quality of the services provided. Assist in generating and executing budgets Assist with generating scope for /RFA/RFP. Assist in project management. Outline a seamless customer impact. Ensure safety guidelines are followed. Provide on time updates to Client. Assist with construction projects Review construction drawings to ensure standards are followed. Collaborate with GC's on impacts to existing customers, FLS impairments, warranty work, etc. Oversee commissioning of new equipment. Vendor contract review and management. Monitor and control energy efficiency. Assist with generating SOP's Ensure OSHA compliance. Ensure team development goals are outlined and met. Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
