Join us as the leader of our dynamic technical team and drive the strategic engineering vision for our product line! You'll oversee all team outputs, design and test plans, product launch timelines, and resource management. You'll set and achieve material cost targets, foster innovation, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. THE DAY TO DAY...

Lead the technical team that delivers the strategic engineering vision of a product line

Owner of Design Plans as part of the Ariens Product Development process

Oversee the design and test plans, product launch timelines, and resource management to hit those timelines

Responsible for establishing and achieving material cost targets

Drives customer value-added innovation within the engineering team and hold team members accountable to complete projects on time and on budget

Teach best practices and create design standards for all vehicle systems

Contribute to strategic and tactical plans to support the broader business plan

Responsible for delivering the Technical Data Package (TDP) including bills of material, technical drawings, and driving demands in the system

Prepare engineering documents including cost estimates, appropriation requests, project schedules, and design specifications

Lead technical design reviews related to technology and sub-systems that will be used on assigned product launches and technology development projects

Continuously monitor group work and mentor team members on best practices for executing project work

THE QUALIFICATIONS...

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (B. S.) from a four-year accredited institution required.

A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience preferred with a significant amount in a leadership role either of direct reports or on project teams

Significant experience in launching new products into production

Experience in high-volume product launches is preferred

An additional business degree or a project management certification is a plus
