Job Title: Chief Estimator
Job Description

Analyze plans and specifications to gain a comprehensive understanding of the project’s scope and specific requirements for cost estimation. Precisely estimate costs for plan/spec and design/build projects involving site development, underground utilities, and road construction. Request and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes to ensure they meet the project’s scope. Prepare estimates by performing a complete takeoff for site development and underground utility projects. Attend Pre-Bid Meetings as necessary. Build and maintain relationships with vendors. Conduct site visits and surveys to confirm the project’s scope and incorporate findings into the cost estimation process. Review estimate details with management before submitting the company’s proposal. Handle preconstruction RFIs submitted and received for assigned projects. Participate in turnover meetings with the project management team.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Carver, Massachusetts.

Work Environment

Onsite in Carver, MA, might have to go to a project site to take measurements but not often. Monday-Friday (7am-4pm).
