**What is the job about?**
The Chief Financial Business Partner (FBP) for Grundfos Water Utilities (WU) Division, Americas is a highly visible role. You will be accountable for all Finance matters related to WU Americas and will act as a one-point-of-contact between WU Americas and the finance community. You will be an individual contributor and co-own the entire strategy process in the two performance units. You will be responsible for setting ambitious financial targets, deploying them into the organization and delivering on those ambitions. You will provide timely and accurate decision support for the business operations in the entire value chain.
You will report directly to the Vice President of Finance, WU and operate on a hybrid schedule out of our brand-new, award-winning Houston, Brookshire, Texas facility.
Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support.
**Your main responsibilities** :
+ Finance Business Partner to the WU Americas management team
+ Accountable for Finance in the WU Americas
+ Execute strategy and be a key contributor in establishing and delivering on short and long term financial targets
+ Continue the implementation of a performance management mindset and alignment to the rest of organization including WU FBP management team
+ Continue implementing a group profitability mindset in the WU business
+ Securing transparency and clarity on performance metrics and financial numbers end to end.
+ Take the WU Americas Strategy, interpret and translate this to the business view and integrate with planning models
+ Establishing plan for easy-to-work-with financial system and concepts
+ Drives the planning process including annual target setting, budgets, forecasts, and coordinating business reviews (BRMs) prioritizing a forward view and acting proactively
+ Establish clear Financial and performance KPIs and links to staff incentive schemes
+ Consolidates budgets and controls expenses
+ Collect information and controls investments from business case to evaluation
+ Establishing pricing processes in close alignment with WU and global Sales
+ Be involved in providing key facts and arguments for negotiations with top customers
+ Ensure that a high standard of ethical norms are embedded into all processes and tasks throughout Americas and adherence to a Grundfos internal control standards.
**Your background**
We imagine that you have:
+ Minimum of 5 years’ experience in full value chain Financial Management
+ Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Finance or Business, Master´s degree strongly preferred.
+ Independent executer, high drive and great motivator
+ Be self-motivated and able to participate in daily routines as a “hand-on” person
+ Good understanding of all relevant business processes across functional areas
+ Knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP, Excel and PowerBI is a Must
+ Deliver progress by interacting in a global Finance Delivery model with dotted lines and no direct employees. Leading and influencing through others is a key competence
+ Must be able to prioritize focus on what matters for the business and focus on delivering high quality through the Finance Delivery Model
+ Be prepared to assume a high degree of responsibility and possess the ability to prioritize work under tight deadlines
+ Project oriented, with good social and communication skills. Willingness and ability to work in an international environment
+ Willingness to travel up to 15-20%
+ Fluency in English (written and oral)
