We’re looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a sustainability-focused packaging company with headquarters in Vancouver BC.
Our client is a truly international company, with operations and customers all over the globe. They are excited to add an experienced leader to their team to support their explosive growth. The CFO will be responsible for partnering with the executive team to strategize, plan and execute growth plans.
CFO responsibilities: Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting Analyze current accounting operations, provide improvement suggestions, and execute new processes Work with cross functional teams to support growth initiatives Board meeting preparation and presentation Complete risk analysis of current growth plan with suggestions for improvement Identify and evaluate potential acquisition opportunities The successful candidate has: Minimum 10 years of financial leadership experience with at least 5 years if experience as a CFO or VP of Finance. Post-secondary degree and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation Proven experience in scaling a company, including fundraising and acquisition Experience collaborating with accountants, auditors, and operational team in a public accounting firm Excellent communication, management, problem solving and technology skills B2B and B2C retail and e-commerce experience an asset Solid comprehension of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Compensation and benefits: The discussed salary range is $210,000 – $230,000, depending on experience ESOP component Comprehensive benefits package Only candidates already eligible to work in Canada will be reviewed.
