Job Summary
The Chief Growth Officer will be responsible for leading Woolpert’s organic growth plan. Working within and across Woolpert’s operating sectors and global regions, the Chief Growth Officer will develop and execute strategies to increase sales and revenue and grow Woolpert’s global market share. The Chief Growth Officer will play an instrumental role in delivering the company’s annual sales plan, providing strategic guidance and oversight on the Company’s most important sales opportunities and pursuits, and coordinating internal teams to pursue strategic projects. The Chief Growth Officer will also lead and manage the company’s sales enablement functions including marketing and creative, communications, proposals, and government affairs.

Reporting Structure
The Chief Growth Officer will report directly to Woolpert’s Chief Executive Officer and will serve on the company’s executive leadership team. The Chief Growth Officer will lead an organization of approximately 100 professionals across marketing and creative, sales, proposals, and government affairs.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities
Drive Sales and Strategy: Working closely with executive leadership and Woolpert’s sector and market leaders, support the development of actionable strategies to grow sales with targeted clients, both new and existing. Provide oversight and strategic advice to the company’s largest corporate pursuits and initiatives (approximately 30 per year) and achieve a win-rate of 80% on these pursuits. Beyond corporate pursuits, work with sales leaders across the company to increase the weighted and total sales pipeline to deliver the Company’s annual sales target of approximately $800 million to enable 15% annual organic revenue growth. Manage the Sales Pipeline & Process: Lead and manage the company’s sales pipeline and associated tools and processes to ensure accurate, timely, and actionable information to support the company’s financial forecasts. Working with the finance team, support regular, accurate, and insightful sales reporting to the CEO and Board of Directors. Ensure that processes, training, and expectations throughout the organization support the reporting process. Oversee the capture and proposal processes across the company and help position Woolpert to maximize strategic sales. Differentiate Woolpert Through Marketing, Branding, and Communications: Lead the Company’s marketing, branding, and communications efforts in coordination with the CEO and sector leadership and supported by the marketing and creative team. Clearly demonstrate Woolpert as a differentiated industry leader through strategic communications, the company’s website and marketing materials, participation in industry and community events, and internal communications strategy. Support and Manage Client Feedback: Manage the Company’s client feedback processes (CPARS and Net Promoter Score) and provide insightful and actionable reporting to the executive leadership team and sector operations. Ensure consistent and streamlined processes and meaningful participation levels among clients. Support Government Affairs: Work closely with Woolpert’s Vice President of Government Affairs, align the company’s growth strategy with appropriate engagement with policy and decision makers to support client programs. QualificationsQualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is required. MBA is preferred. Experience: Minimum 15 years of related experience leading sales, marketing, and proposals for a professional services organization. Experience selling to government and private sector customer bases; preferable experience with selling geospatial, engineering, architecture, and consulting services. U.S. National sales experience; global experience preferred. Leading a sales organization of $250 million in annual sales. Preferably leading a sales organization of approximately $500 million+ in annual sales. Provide leadership across the full sales lifecycle: lead and pipeline generation, capture plans and review, corporate and market branding. Skills, Capabilities, and Requirements: Motivating, supportive, and engaging leader, with high integrity, credibility and character. Ability to lead, manage, and grow a team of sales, proposals, marketing personnel. Ability to provide advice on sales strategy for all markets and services within the firm. Demonstrated success in developing and implementing marketing strategies across digital and traditional channels. Strong organization and prioritization skills to win the firm's largest pursuits and proposals. Ability to recognize industry trends and opportunities and help shape strategy for the Company’s operating sectors. Strong communication, listening, presentation, and speaking skills.
