This role focuses on strategic initiatives to optimize revenue streams, expand market presence, enhance customer lifetime value, and maximize subscriber penetration in both established and newly developed markets. The CGO will oversee critical growth levers including product strategy, sales, customer experience, creative strategy, and legacy subscriber base management, ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term objectives while delivering short-term results. The CGO must also demonstrate a commitment to clear, transparent communication across and within teams and foster a culture of collaboration. Additionally, the CGO will work as a co-equal partner with the three large geographic divisions that manage the company's field operations, ensuring alignment between national growth strategies and regional execution. To drive growth effectively, the CGO will take a data-centric approach, using the company’s Enterprise Business Intelligence (EBI) platform as the single source of truth. The role requires comfort in using (as opposed to building) AI-based tools, platforms, and decision-making rubrics to inform strategies, optimize performance, and support data-driven decision-making across all growth initiatives. **Job Description** **1. Strategic Growth Leadership:** + Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy to return the business to consistent revenue and subscriber growth while balancing ARPUtoachieve our strategicobjectives. + Lead cross-functional initiatives to optimize product dispersion towards higher-margin and higher-revenue offerings. + Create strategies to expand market share within Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs). + Drive monetization strategies in newly built market footprints, maximizing subscriber penetration in “homes passed.” + Use EBI analytics and AI-driven insights to identify opportunities, forecast outcomes, and make informed strategic decisions. + Build Brand strategies for the Residential brands (e.g, Xfinity and NOW) that are responsive to short and long term go-to-market objectives, and which support strategic objectives such as: accelerating convergence, new build penetrations, our WiFi product and FDX investments, and customer segmentation. **2. Revenue & Subscriber Base Management:** + Implement initiatives to manage and retain the legacy subscriber base, balancing ARPU and churn management. + Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services to existing customers. + Partner with finance and analytics teams to develop performance metrics and KPIs aligned with growth objectives. + Rely on data-driven insights from EBI and AI-powered tools to monitor subscriber behavior, segment audiences, and optimize retention strategies. **3. Customer-Centric Growth Focus:** + Enhance customer lifecycle value by optimizing acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies. + Drive innovative customer experience initiatives that increase satisfaction and loyalty. + Collaborate with the Chief Customer Experience Officer to identify friction points in the customer journey and address them effectively. + Leverage AI-powered customer analytics tools to identify and address customer pain points proactively. + Build a fulsome convergence strategy to underpin the product roadmap, branding, sales & marketingstrategies and tactics. **4. Sales & Marketing Alignment:** + Align sales and marketing efforts to optimize acquisition costs, customer conversion rates, and revenue growth. + Oversee go-to-market strategies for new products and services, ensuring alignment with market demand and organizational goals. + Work closely with the Head of Sales to refine sales processes and expand channel partnerships. + Utilize AI-driven sales and marketing tools to forecast trends, refine targeting strategies, and improve customer conversion rates. **5. Cross-Functional Leadership:** + Lead and mentor key direct reports, including potentially the Chief Creative Officer, Head of Sales, and Head of Base Management. + Foster collaboration across departments to create synergy between creative strategy, customer experience, sales execution, and subscriber management. + Build a data-driven culture, emphasizing insights and analytics for strategic decision-making. + Promote adoption of AI-powered decision-making platforms across direct reports and their teams to enhance efficiency and accuracy in execution. **6. Transparent Communication & Partnership:** + Champion clear and transparent communication across teams, leadership levels, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity of purpose. + Cultivate an open dialogue culture that promotes trust, accountability, and shared objectives. + Act as a partner with the three large geographic divisions managing the company’s field sales operations, balancing national strategy with regional execution realities. + Work collaboratively to align growth initiatives with operational capabilities and market-specific opportunities. + Ensure that data insights from EBI are shared transparently across divisions to align regional execution with national growth strategies. **Key Direct Reports:** + Chief Creative Officer + Head of Sales + Head of Base Management **Qualifications & Experience:** + **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field. MBA preferred. + **Experience:** Minimum of 15+ years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role focused on growth within a subscription-based business model. + **Industry Knowledge:** Strong background in broadband, mobile connectivity, home security, or related subscription industries. + **Strategic Expertise:** Proven track record of driving sustainable growth in highly competitive markets. + **Financial Acumen:** Deep understanding of revenue management, ARPU optimization, and financial performance metrics. + **Data-Centric Approach:** Proficiency in using EBI analytics platforms and AI-based tools for strategic decision-making. + **Leadership Skills:** Experience managing cross-functional teams, aligning diverse departments towards common growth goals. + **Customer Focus:** Expertise in lifecycle management, retention strategies, and customer segmentation. + **Communication:** Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on clarity, transparency, and collaboration. + **Collaboration:** Proven ability to work effectively and respectfully as a co-equal partner with regional operational leadership. **Key Competencies:** + **Strategic Vision:** Ability to see the big picture while managing tactical execution. + **Analytical Thinking:** Proficiency in data analysis using EBI and AI tools. + **Customer-Centric Mindset:** Deep commitment to improving customer experiences and satisfaction. + **Operational Excellence:** Strong understanding of sales, marketing, and operational workflows. + **Change Leadership:** Ability to drive organizational change and inspire teams toward ambitious goals. + **Transparent Communication:** Skilled in articulating clear messages and fostering open dialogue across teams. + **Collaboration:** Ability to build strong partnerships across regional divisions and national leadership. + **Data-Driven Culture:** Committed to using analytics and AI platforms as foundational tools for decision-making.
