Essential Responsibilities :
The Electrification Software CIO develops and owns the IT strategy, budget and portfolio for Electrification Software including evolving the vision and mission of the IT organization, collaborating with Electrification Software leaders to achieve business priorities and fostering a culture of engagement and growth.
Ruthlessly prioritize requests across the business; facilitate discussions across the leadership team to generate buy-in for large program decisionsProvide guidance to business stakeholders; act as a resource for various teams, providing input on enterprise software and ensuring focus on product quality and customer needsPartner with Corporate to improve end user Net Promoter ScoresIncrease Electrification Software’s ownership of the experience – simplify personas served; implement rigorous testing and change management before deploying changes to usersDrive continual improvement on end user imaging; drive towards a defect-free, positive user experience where things that should work, just work.Continue the transition from Project to ProductContinue driving the team towards Agile-Lean methodologies, driving high adoption of DevOps tools (QA automation and CI/CD), and basic ITIL practicesIdentify and reduce shadow IT; simplify application count to industry benchmarks; provide a clean data-driven view of business activitiesEnsure a smooth implementation of a singular ERP (Oracle Fusion Cloud)Influence & facilitate program definition to transition to Salesforce suiteInfluence the business to see data as an asset versus maintenance tasksDrive the transition to service-oriented organization that values self-service methodologiesImplement privacy and compliance by design into continuous deliveryDevelop career paths and grow global talent pipelineManaged in/outsource mix to increase quality and continuity of productsPrioritize employee engagement, foster a growth mindset by seeking opportunities for employees to develop skills aligned with their interests, strengths and needs of the business
Eligibility Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).A minimum 15 years of professional experienceLegal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
