About the digital team

The IT Team at Laborelec has two missions.

Internally: We empower Laborelec colleagues across diverse departments by optimizing workflows, fostering a digital-driven approach, and providing relevant enterprise applications. Externally: We deliver business-focused research and expertise services to energy operators worldwide, with innovative digital solutions mostly in health & performance monitoring of industrial energy assets, and in real-time energy management systems.

 

The present job focuses on the internal mission.

Your responsibilities as Chief Information Officer

 

As the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Laborelec, you will:

develop and implement an IT strategy that aligns with our vision and goals; guide and inspire a dynamic IT team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Your role involves

overseeing our IT infrastructure and enterprise applications, in a well thought enterprise architecture, ensuring they provide value and are reliable; driving the adoption of emerging technologies to enhance our operations and secure our business systems, networks, and data; governing IT services and managing risks, including compliance with ENGIE IT (security) standards, relevant laws, and regulations.

Finally, you will be responsible for

building strong relationships with executives and stakeholders, managing the IT budget efficiently and handling contracts with IT vendors, promoting a safe working environment and adhering to health, safety, and environmental requirements as they are key aspects to your role.

 

Your profile as Chief Information Officer  

 

Your talents:

Proven leadership and management abilities developed in a previous senior role (approximatively 3 years of senior experience) Proven ability to develop and implement value-driven strategic plans, and to lead projects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to translate between technical teams, suppliers, and business stakeholders. In-depth knowledge & experience of IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies developed over more than 5 years. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with experience in budgeting. Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and experience with enterprise applications such as ERP are a plus.
