Chief Information Officer

Roles and Responsibilities

Leading the development and execution of the IT strategy to support the organization's overall business objectives. Collaborating with senior leadership to identify and prioritize IT initiatives that drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and business growth. Overseeing the implementation of robust cybersecurity measures to protect the organization's digital assets and sensitive information. Driving digital transformation by leveraging emerging technologies to enhance operational processes and customer experience. Building and leading a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships with IT vendors, service providers, and technology consultants. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to IT operations and data management. Providing strategic guidance on IT infrastructure investments, including hardware, software, and cloud solutions. Communicating IT initiatives, project updates, and performance metrics to executive stakeholders and board members.

Proven experience in IT management within the Ports & Logistics industry Demonstrated track record of successful IT strategy development and implementation Exceptional leadership and people management abilities Hands-on experience of managing OT infrastructure Managing network intelligence / performance, and in transitioning industrial environments from wired to wireless networking Must be knowledgeable on edge devices, models and warranty/EOL services Must understand standards and compliances necessary. Must have managed operations / teams at 50+ sites

Education Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Technology Management (preferred)

Experience

Minimum 15-18 years of experience in IT management within the Ports & Logistics industry Demonstrated track record of successful IT strategy development and implementation Proven experience in leading digital transformation initiatives and driving innovation

Certification Required

Certified Chief Information Officer (CCIO) or equivalent certification (preferred) Professional certifications in cybersecurity, cloud computing, or enterprise architecture (desirable)
